Do not delete my editing settings

It would be great to delete all the my editing settings after closing Affinity and not after closing an image.

If I understand your comment, it's not an issue of settings being deleted after you close an image. Rather, it's that different images use different settings. You can, for example, open several images at the same time, and they will not share any settings. If you crop one to a particular aspect ratio, then switch to the next one to crop it, you have to specify the ratio again.

Each open image is treated separately from all the others.

For instance, cut an image 1x1 or fixed size.

If you make a crop preset (Resample) at the fixed size you want then when you select and use that preset it will remain the default setting for any future crops until you close Affinity

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Which can be a bit of a pain!

I'm sure there is some logic to which settings stay as you've set them and which revert to a default, but I've yet to work it out. :/
