foofou
I started my trial today. I am trying to create a 7 page PDF and am trying to add a new page. Right now I have one. I can't get the pages panel to pull up. I've gone to View>Studio and there is not option for Pages. The option go from Navigator to Paragraph. How do I add a new page to my document? Joachim_L
I think you are using ADesigner and here is no Pages Panel. But you can create something "similar" called Artboards. You seem to be in the Publisher app, but in its Photo Persona. The Pages panel is part of the Publisher Persona. Sherri
@walt.farrell Hi. I'm rather new at this. Not sure what Persona means.... But the page thumbnails used to be in my PUBLISHER file working view... until I updated to 1.10.5 !! It must have switched to a default setting or they eliminated thumbnail view?? Now I can't figure out how to rearrange my pages or duplicate pages. Ugh. spent an hour scouring the internet.....
walt.farrell
Help: https://affinity.help/publisher/en-US.lproj/pages/Introduction/about_Personas.html Your screenshot is odd. According to the View menu you have the Toolbar showing, but the row under the menu bar seems to be blank except for the MacOS traffic lights. There should be a bunch of other buttons there, including three for switching between the Personas. It is possible to use View > Customize Toolbar to remove everything except the window control 'traffic light' buttons from the main toolbar, but I cannot imagine how that could happen in any way other by deliberate user action. Nevertheless, it is clear from the screenshot that @Sherri is in the Photo Persona of APub because no other APub persona has a Macro, Library, or Metadata Studio panel. If she clicks on the "Affinity Publisher" menu item just to the right of the Apple menu, one of the choices on the menu that opens should be "Publisher Persona." Click on that & the Pages panel should appear as an option in the View > Studio menu. walt.farrell 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V23.0 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
