tiborsanta1955 Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Brushes - no effect on pressure and other similar inputs at all? Quote
Dan C Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Hi tiborsanta1955 Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Please make sure the brush that you're using supports pressure and has its Dynamics settings set to Pressure. Equally, the tool you're using may have it's Controller set to None on the Context Toolbar, please check this and change it to Pressure, then use your tool again. Does this now work as expected? tiborsanta1955 Posted January 10, 2020 Author Posted January 10, 2020 make sure the brush that you're using supports pressure and has its Dynamics settings set to Pressure. HOW? Dan C Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 My apologies, it should be noticeable from the brush preview in the Brushes Studio as to whether the brush supports size variance based on pressure, as the brush preview will be tapered, for example - With your tool and brush selected, you should see a 'More' option on the Context Toolbar which is located just above your workspace - Selecting this will open the Brush editor, which will differ depending on the Affinity app you're using (I'm unsure if you're using Photo or Designer), Photo has a Dynamics tab which allows you to add and change multiple variances based on pressure or other engines, such as Velocity - Whereas Affinity Designer (in the Designer Persona) will show the following dialog, where you can add size and opacity variance based on pressure, or another engine as required - The Context Toolbar Controller option is only applicable if you're using Designer, which can be found to the right hand side of the aforementioned 'More' option - I hope this helps! tiborsanta1955 Posted January 13, 2020 Author Posted January 13, 2020 Thanks Dan, The picture solved the problem. I believe it was the controler and pressure. Thanks heaps. Tibor Santa Dan C 1 Quote
