Hey folks,

New to these forums so hello!

I’m after a little help. I am attempting to make a shape out of text.

I know I can do this by inserting a shape and making that shape a text frame, however I would like the shape to be one I’ve created.

i have created a drawing as a pixel layer, I’d like now to be able to make that shape into an object that I can then make a text frame so I get free flowing text within the object.

can anyone help me out? Or if I’ve done it wrong to start with, tell me how to make the shape I need then make it into a text frame?

 thanks all.

To be clear, you want to fill a shape with text? You can clip text into a shape but the text won’t conform to the shape (words will be cut off). I think Publisher is able to fill a shape with text and the text conforms to the shape.  Not yet available on iPad. Soon though, I hope. :)
