I have a Wacom and it has 'Touch' which allows me to use my fingers to rotate the canvas. I realize that Wacom has many tablets out there with the Intuos name and so not all features are available on all models but are there any buttons or sliders or dials (I have a ring), could they be changed to allow rotation?

I had disabled the touch option on the tablet. I will turn it on and see

I would love for this feature to be added - I'm using a laptop riser and a standard Intuos, so the trackpad rotation thing isn't feasible.

i would suggest the devs actually forget about photoshop and look at krita canvas rotation instead. shift plus middle mouse click which is accessible by pen click assignment allows nice canvas rotation with stylus plus they also have other modes for pure keyboard use and mouse use as well.

You can rotate the canvas without transforming. It can be done with the Ctrl + [ shortcut or 4`key and the other way with :kbd:`Ctrl + ] shortcut or 6 key. Quick mouse based rotation is the Shift + Space and Shift + shortcuts. To reset rotation use the 5 key.

Why not just use the Pan/Scroll and gesture support in the Intuos tablet?

I don't use the tablet with the touch option. Doesn't work well in the workflow, for me.
Keyboard shortcut would be a lot better.

I have disabled the touch functionality, because it may mess up my lines at times and/ or navigate my view accidentally. I don't like using the gestures to begin with either.

Has anyone been successful with using an iPad Pro as a second screen for your Mac (via sidecar) and being able to rotate screen?

I'd like the similar drawing experience of my iPad, ability to easily rotate canvas as I go....

I prefer the method of holding R to rotate. It's easier to work quickly in my experience. CSP does the Shift + mouse method as well, but it works in 45s... which is more in line with a common use of that modifier in other usages.
