Good day,

I am new with AP and I've a problem. First of all I have to say that my english is not the best. I am sorry for that.

I get the RAW image in the preview as shown in image 1. Then open it with Affinity Photo in development mode and it looks much darker (see image 2).

After I have edited it as needed, it looks very different after exporting see image three.

It doesn't always happend. Sometimes I can edit three or four pictures bevor the problem  shows up.   What's going on ther?

I have already calibrated the monitor. I checked all settings. I uninstalled Ap and made a new installation. But nothing solved the problem.

Can anybody help me?  An I am not allown with this problem. I am in a Facebook Group an ther is anybody more with it.

I am using AP 1.7.3.481, Windows 10 and a Canon EOS 70D

Is ICC Display Transform checked in 32-bit Preview panel within the Develop Persona?

Hi Bruchpilot_Quack and Welcome to the Forums,

Could you attach the RAW file shown in the screenshots?

While it is common for most apps to display the embedded JPG as a Preview, which can explain some difference as we are loading the RAW unprocessed data when opening the RAW file where as the embedded JPG will have had some processing in camera. I just tried this with a sample RAW file from a Canon D70 and the preview matched what was opened (see attached screenshot).

Hi stokerg

I attached the file.

Sometimes it works quite normally. The problem also occurred with other files and sometimes not.

With Photoshop I didn't have the problem with a single file, if that helps somehow.

I can only get the dark version by having Display Transform = Unmanaged.
