DreamThinkLive
Hi Everyone, Is there a shortcut key for flow like it is for the Opacity when you press the numbers? HarryPehkonen

Staff MEB Posted July 14, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 14, 2015 Hi DreamThinkLive, As far as i know there's currently no shortcut set for Flow in the app. I'm moving this to the Feature Requests section. DreamThinkLive
Also, not sure if i should add this here or else where. But when i chose the % for the Flow or Opacity i have to click on the screen to have to activate or have the chosen % amount active. Normally what i would do is select the amount i want then use the [ & ] to adjust my brush size. But in order to do that after i select my % amount i have to click on the image somewhere for the number to take then i am able to change the size. I don't want to click on my image because it leaves the brush mark i just did and i would have to undo and then change the brush size. Hope this made sense? :)
Staff MEB Posted July 15, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 15, 2015 Yes, it makes sense. To avoid it, press Enter after inserting the numbers in the input field. I know it's another "step" but currently most input fields work this way. I don't know if there's changes planned for this at the moment. I tried using the slider to select the value and then press enter and nothing. It would give me like the error feedback sound. If i enter a number in the field the slider goes away but I'm unable to use the shortcut to adjust the bushes unless i use the brush adjustment field. Staff MEB Posted July 15, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 15, 2015 Don't use the slider. Triple-click directly in the field (to highlight the text), type your value and press Enter. Then use the brush and shortcuts as you usually do. Let me know if it still gives you trouble. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Staff MEB Posted July 15, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 15, 2015 Ok. My keyboard doesn't have direct access to the [ and ] - it's a portuguese keyboard - so i will have to change the keyboard settings to test this properly. Sorry for the trouble :( Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

HarryPehkonen
Hitting [Enter] doesn't seem to work for me either. I assume there is a difference between having the mouse on the image (shows the brush size), and having it elsewhere (shows the typical arrow-shape). Neither scenario makes me able to start using [ and ] to adjust the brush size. DreamThinkLive
DreamThinkLive
Just wanted to bring this topic up again to see if they would include the features requested. Thanks for all your hard work everyone!
