Vamporia - Red Dead Stories

Thought I would share this story, not sure if there is much of a call for this type of content nowadays.

This intro story is inspired by my partial play through of RED Dead Redemption 2 on PC.  I have used the setting for the story from the game where I then did a photo shoot taking pictures from inside the game world and then enhancing them using Affinity Photo and Designer.

I was very pleased with the level of detail shown by the creators of this game world and this prompted me to write a series of RED Dead Stories.

I tend to create things that aren't fashionable quite often myself, but I don't give a flying ..... As long as you enjoy doing whatever you're doing, it's ok and along the way you learn a lot of things, which is never time wasted. Going into different directions than the pack rocks (imho).

Allow me to make two suggestions:

  • Increase the margins somewhat to make the composition more balanced (easier to visually distinguish between the various components)
  • perhaps consider changing the colour of the type, making it more in balance with the images

I've created many educational books and once was suggested to choose colours so that colour blind people would be able to read the text better and understand the explanatory aspects of the drawings with less of an effort.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The margins I can adjust to fit better with images so I will try this out for the next chapter.  The colour of the text I will play around with, maybe white text on black or dark backgrounds or black text on a faded paper background.

Things to consider, so again thanks for the input.
