Oldnickj Posted January 1, 2020 Share Posted January 1, 2020 WHen I print DNG files, dragged from HD or placed they are noticeably darker than TIFF, PNG and JPGs made as exports from Lightroom. walt.farrell Posted January 1, 2020 Share Posted January 1, 2020 Are these RAW files that you're placing? If so, you should Open then in Photo so they can be properly Developed. Any other use of RAW files (Placing, using in Photo batch jobs, using in Photo Stacks, etc.) does not go through the full Photo Development process and will turn out darker than desired.
