Fritz_H
none of the Affinity-Applications recognizes the image-orientation flag (?) to auto-rotate an imported image. Thanks. Fritz
walt.farrell
Affinity Photo properly recognizes the orientation of my pictures when I Open them, for pictures taken on either my phone or my Nikon camera. I don't know what it uses to do that. Old Bruce
I had a problem with my Canon's portraits not being recognized and it was my fault. I had sometime back turned off that feature in the camera. There doesn't seem to be any item in the preferences or in the Assistant or Develop Assistant which would account for it. Staff Dan C Posted January 2, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 2, 2020 Hi Fritz_H This is a bug that is known to our developers and is logged to be fixed - it only occurs when using File>Place, not File>Open. I'll bump the report with this thread now, thanks for your patience and understanding here! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
