I started making more images in affinity photo again and I've noticed that the colors are extremely off. The colors appear much whiter than they should be.

Here is an example:

The grayness scale
RGB Color
What the actual color is

As you can see, the grayness is much higher than it should be. When I use a color picker, the image's rgb is 43,43,43, which is much higher than it should be. I can't make any accurate dark pictures on Affinity Photo because of this. Is there a way to fix this?

Adobe Photoshop CC reads the "what the color actually is" file as RGB 43,43,43

What is the process to get this colour swatch which I assume should be RGB 5,5,5

Hi DevLuke,

Welcome to the forums :)

It's likely that you have incorrect set your colour profile for use within Affinity, and this is causing the inconsistencies.

Could you please follow the advice given at the following link in regards to setting colour profiles through the OS, not for the document, and let me know if this helps?

Many thanks!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
