Affinity Designer Desktop version: 1.7.3.481 crashing on launch

Recommended Posts

I am using Affinity designer from last 1 year. Updated minor version couple of time in the past after the purchase.

But last week I installed latest version and later that week it is not able to launch at all.

I may have installed some other software applications after updating Affinity Designer.

Windows event viewer is showing following error.

Faulting application name: Designer.exe, version: 1.7.3.481, time stamp: 0x5d8acd5d
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.17763.914, time stamp: 0xfb6790ac

Faulting application start time: 0x01d5be5ab379424a

Report ID: b148773e-e571-4b8c-aa02-5a302ab2b4bd

Can some one tell me how to fix the issue.

Please let me know if anything is required other than this log.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forums.
Unfortunately you’ve had the problem during a holiday shutdown at Serif, so not many of their people are around to help.
You might get more answers once they get back off their well-deserved holidays.
In the meantime you could try these posts from the FAQs:
