thomaso Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 In macOS you have 2 options to increase a file's thumbnail in an Affinity open dialog: 1. Select/highlight a file + hit the space key to get a quicklook popup window. Additionally you may drag-size the new window according to your needs. With the arrow keys you may scroll through your files and make the quicklook window content update. 2. In the open window title bar click the most right icon to show the large thumbnail and file details view in the most right column. Again additionally you may drag-size the open window to increase the thumbnail. 3. You may combine 1. + 2. Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

You can use these options in any app on your mac, not only in Affinity. Just notice that this great help delivered by macOS might not work anymore in a future Affinity version, as the recent publisher betas (v518, v523) appear to promise. They seem to prevent these handy macOS features and create a design and navigation by their own instead. Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
