Copying a line

Recommended Posts

  1. Are you using the latest release version?
    Yes
  2. Can you reproduce it?
    Yes, it does it frequently
  3. Does it happen for a new document? If not do you have a document you can share that shows the problem?
Yes, it happens in any document.
  4. If you cannot provide a sample document then please give an accurate description of the problem for example it should include most of the following:
  •    What is your operating system and version (Windows 10, OSX Mojave, etc)?
    Windows 10
  •    What happened for you (and what you expected to happen)

1st issue: When I copy a line by holding down control and start dragging it to a different position - if I then resize it after I drag it to where I want it, the original line disappears. I have to recreate the original line.

The 2nd issue: When I drag out a frame text box and paste text from another document into it (like from Microsoft Word), if I don't click inside the box first, it will throw the box off of my document to a completely new position (with the sides hanging way off the document).

  •    Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did).
    See above
