Bitterend Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Publisher locks up when I select a new file on startup and also with an existing file. The only way out is to select End Task 'publisher' in the file manager. I am unable to select any menu item or select anything from any of the studio pallets. The cursor moves but nothing else can be done. Under some situations I can't even select the task bar on the PC to select the Task Manager and my only option was to use Ctrl\Alt\Del, although having the browser window open may have some relevance. The issue is connected to the Text Styles tab on the studio pallet. The issue only occurs when I have the Show Samples option selected in Text styles. Once selected there is no way out other than to shut down and re-start. I then have to turn off the option before anything else. Any suggestions? Staff Pauls Posted December 19, 2019 Staff Posted December 19, 2019 Could you zip up your appdata folder %appdata%\Roaming\Affinity\Publisher\1.0 and post it here After that try doing a full reset by launching the app whilst holding down the Control key. Select all options and the clear. This will remove any custom settings you have. That should correct the start up problem Quote
