Hello,

I would love to see the ability to adjust the stroke length of a path, so when you use more than one stroke on a path each could have its own length (e.g. 75% of the path length). This should be an option for either open or closed paths.

best,

Andreas

Thanks for the work around. I just discovered that the graph width editor does what I was looking for. However, a simple slider using a range between 0–100% would even be better.98EDE70F-5214-4022-AC73-69DE2B38D754.thumb.png.0e2dedfe431d5346d41f1e619e18d01a.png

As you can see the above screenshot is from Designer for iPad, and in comparison to the desktop version there is a difference in effect as you can see in screenshot below. This shoul be fixed, at least.

An option to edit points on the graph by numbers like in the curves for color correction would add more control to the editor.

And what I also miss is the ability to adjust the stroke position (center, left, right) for open paths! Illustrator also can't do this, however, for some reason InDesign does!

Oh yes, the pressure curve is another, even better workaround. Hadn’t thought of that. Though it seems you can’t get rounded ends with this technique. Or at least, it seems difficult to do.

As to your last remarks, you can get a slightly better result by using more points on the pressure curve in the desktop version. And yes, it would be awesome to have different stroke alignments for open paths. :)
