UI is too small on High res displays

Recommended Posts

I searched and this is a common issue. Some of the posts go back 3 years!

It is nearly 2020, why is software still being designed in a way that does not allow us to scale up fonts, icons etc.? Changing windows global display settings is not a solution. 2560X1440 Native resolution on my 27" Rog Swift panel, and the panel text is too small. What is the solution to this?

Hi ZKP :)

Currently, changing your Windows scaling is the only way to affect this text size of the UI etc within Affinity - my apologies.

This has been requested previously as you've mentioned and is certainly something our devs are aware of, hopefully this will be added in a future update, my apologies for any inconveniences in the meantime.

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
