angelhdz12 Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 I tried to find the appropriate forum for this question, but couldn't find anything. I want to report a forum user, who is very rude, arrogant, toxic, and he even makes fun of the topics we create by using laughing reactions. Also, he makes these kind of sarcastic questions implying as we were dumb and showing off as if he was a know-it-all. Also, he questions the features we request, as if because he don't need those features, nobody else needs them. We don't need people like this here. Thanks. Quote
carl123 Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 If you hover your cursor over any post you will see a "Report Post" option appear in the top-right of that post. You can use that "button" to report the post if you find it offensive or if it contravenes forum guidelines. But If the post simply disagrees with your opinion on a particular matter it's probably best just to ignore it as that happens frequently on just about every forum I visit. Joachim_L Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 Additionally you can use the forum function to ignore a users posts (hides the post from these Users). Already did this myself for two users here. angelhdz12 1 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed

It's not disagreements. I can respect other people opinions. It's just the attitudes. There are some arrogant trolls here, making rude and narcissistic remarks, that I would like to hide or block and not seeing their face. I can't believe a basic forum feature is missing... Edit: I should rename the title of this thread as "Block Forum User For Good". Quote

It's not missing. As @Joachim_L mentioned above, that function is available to you. Hover over the user's name or icon, and then choose Ignore User. wonderings Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 As others have said the ignore function is there. End of the day they are just words on the internet. Take them for what they are, if you don't like it you can moderate for yourself. Quote
