Hi Guys

I'm sure this is easy to do but I've looked on youtube and can't find an answer.

Have downloaded / saved image of a black cartoon image of a old fashioned microphone and wish to drop the image into a poster design. How do i just get the black actual artwork and get rid of the rectangle white background as per the image below ?

Many thanks folks

Pete

A few ways, one is to import the image and change the layer blend mode to Multiply.

Another way is to use Filters > Colours > Erase White Paper, this removes the white and leaves the black.
