kat
Tried to get make better sketching brushes but finally realized I couldn't match corel painter 2019. I love so many things about AP, but sketching and painting doesn't cut it. Anyway I can make better brushes? Dynamics doesn't help.
firstdefence
Affinity Photo doesn't have the level of brush sophistication that Corel Painter (a dedicated drawing app) has so trying to match a brush from Corel Painter is never going to end well. You could make a stroke in Corel painter export as PNG and use that to make a brush in Affinity Photo. kat 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... walt.farrell
Or, if you were using Designer instead of Photo, giving you access to vector brushes, you might consider some of The Artifex Forge's products, such as their Perfect Pencils pack. kat 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for LOAD brush or possible to make one?

SrPx
I purchased the full set of "Daub" brushes and installed them in both Clip Studio and Affinity Photo. IMO they are great. I can sketch well with any of these tools, even just using the basic brushes (non DAUB), and faking a convincing enough pencil, so, I am not sure if they'd cover your specific needs.
