txmx
A feature I often use in PS and did not find in Affinity is : make a selection - and fill it context sensitive. (sometimes alternative to the "healing brush tool", if the selection is somewhere inside the frame). Example: I often use the " pespective tool" resp. its counterpart in PS. Sometimes I have to go INSIDE a picture with a corner. The result is an empty triangle on one side of the frame. Then I select this with the magic wand and fill the selection "context sensitive". (If the selected part is not too big it usually works nice.) How can I achieve this with Affinity? BTW in PS you can _ how to say - symmetrically warp (both corners horizonally or vertically together). Did not find it in Affinity too.? manu schwendener

manu schwendener
The magic wand in AP is the Inpainting Brush Tool, in the Healing Brush "bundle". (Not working if no layer is selected <- confused me some times, because I'm new to layers) > symmetrically warp switch from Mesh Warp Tool to Perspective Tool? Staff Justin Posted July 13, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 13, 2015 Hi txmx There is an Inpainting option in the Edit|Fill... dialog. I've just tried filling a hole by using the magic wand tool and filling. It was not successful at the first attempt as the magic wand selection did not include the semi-transparent pixels. I needed to grow the selection (Select|Grow/Shrink...) by 1 pixel before filling. Justin
