Nimit Dholakia
Hello Friends, I am switching from PhotoShop to Affinity regarding my User Interface Designing works for mobile application. Can anyone guide me how can I get Grid line (the blue lines dragging from ruler) like photoshop? Thank you in advance. Regards, Nimit
Dave Harris
Drag from the ruler with the Move tool, or View/Guides Manager.
Nimit Dholakia
Thanks for the details. But suppose I made a document in photoshop and opening into Affinity, how can I see the grids that I have set in photoshop?
Staff Ben Posted September 6, 2014 Staff Share Posted September 6, 2014 We still need to add guide and slice import for PSD. It's on the list and will come soon. MaxClass
Ben, The guides are a great tool to use in graphic creation. What I have not been able to figure out is how to reset the zero, zero (0,0) origins of the rulers. In Illustrator you would put the cursor in the small rectangle where the rulers come together, click and drag out a vertical and horizontal line to the point where you want the new ruler origins to be. Can you explain how this can be done in AD? Max Quote OS X Ventura 13.0.1, Mac Studio M1 Max, 27" Apple Studio Display, 32 GB SSD. Affinity Universal License for 2.0. Staff MattP Posted September 11, 2014 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2014 At present, there is no support for user-definable origin. It will be added soon.
