Date & Time

Can you change the date and time on multiple photos in Affinity Photo?  If not any recommendations on what software to use to do this?  The problem is when we forget to amend the time when travelling overseas.

Unfortunately this isn't currently possible in Affinity Photo, my apologies.

I'm not personally aware of any software where this is possible, but hopefully our community members can help here!

There are ways and software to batch edit creation dates, are you on Mac or Windows? 

On windows Nirsofts BulkFileChanger can change files settings, including creation and modified dates.

If you are a Mac user & manage your photos with Apple's Photos app, you can use it's Image > Adjust Date & Time menu item for this. As shown in section 3 of this article, the adjust sheet includes a world map divided into time zones you can click on & a popup to select a city in that time zone (although the city does not matter, as long as it is in the appropriate time zone).

If you select multiple photos, all are changed by the same relative amount, which usually is what you want if all the photos were taken in the same place, like when traveling.

It should be emphasized for Apple Photos, that if the selected photos (whose Exif data date/time stamp should be modified) do all have initially different date and time settings, that you then can't set one and the same date and time for them at once. In such cases you have to rely on other previously mentioned software.

I can't find a reference to it right now, but somewhere on Apple's community support site someone posted an AppleScript app for Apple Photos that will set the same absolute date and time for a group of selected photos.

Well just search after your own activities and linking related to that old theme ...
