Publisher - Problem with Page Numbering: Only One Digit Showing

I set up page numbering via the master and all seemed go well EXCEPT it only displays the left most digit. For example, 1-9 displays correctly.  10-19 display as "1", 20-29 display as "2" etc.  I have tried multiple things but to no avail. Please advise.

Have you placed another 'blank' frame to the left or right of the page number which is a layer partially in front of the numbers? I'm a novice, so this is a guess.

Perhaps the Text Frame you created for the page number is too narrow? Try making it a little wider.

Looking at your Master Page, you have at least two strange things setup for the page number field:

1. If you notice, the # sign is outside the text frame, just past the right edge of the frame. That's because you have a specified a left-indent of 14.25 inches via the Paragraph panel. You should remove that specification, as it is not reasonable for that text frame. That will put the # properly within its text frame.
2. You also have a Paragraph Style of Drop Cap specified for that text frame. That's what is restricting your page numbers to 1 digit. Remove that paragraph style for that frame, and you will get multi-digit numbers.
