Woolhelmina
I bought Photo a week ago and thought I had seen the help file (though I could be wrong). Now when I click Help it gives me the icon but, when I click it, nothing happens.

Woolhelmina
Windows 10. The file may have disappeared after the big update on 6/12/2019.
Woolhelmina
I have tried 'repair' and uninstall. When I reinstall it comes back remembering the security key and my recently used files. This make me think there are bits I should be removing manually before a complete reinstall.

An uninstall does not remove everything, but it should remove the directory that contains the Help files (for me, C:\Program Files\Affinity\Photo\PhotoHelp) and a reinstall should put them back. Woolhelmina
I deleted C:\Program Files\Affinity\Photo\PhotoHelp then uninstalled and reinstalled but it was still missing.

Does that mean that the directory was not installed when you did the reinstall? Or that the directory is present, and has files in it, but the Help still doesn't work for you? Woolhelmina
I've done it. I removed the Photo file from appdata and everything went back to the beginning.
