tnwalkinghorse
Hello, I am creating lines and was wanting to type in a number value for the opacity of the color for the lines. I see the slider, but no where to type in a number. Am I missing something, or is this just not available? Thanks!
firstdefence
This can be done from the Colour Panel. Annoying it can't be done from Pen tools options as there is no practical reason not too, it doesn't even give any numerical feedback when moving the slider. Same as for the hidden noise toggle, both is from an general UI usage perspective suboptimal and questionable! I see the slider, but no where to type in a number. Alternatively, with the line selected (and that color panel not displayed), just type the opacity you want. It's standard processing in the Affinity suite: Quote To use opacity quick keys: Select a single layer or multiple layers. Press a numerical key, or two numerical keys in quick succession, to set the opacity. For example: Press 4 for 40% opacity. Press 0 for 100% opacity. Press 4 and 5 for 45% opacity. Press 0 and 7 for 7% opacity. That's from the Publisher Help on Layer Opacity, but it works in all the applications. There's no need to have any of the color panels involved.
