Publisher Beta 1.8 The suggestion is for the Resource Manager.

Recommended Posts

A function would be useful, thanks to which you can specify a new folder with all source files. In a situation when the whole folder is moved to a different place.
This can be done just like on the attached file ... Now you need to update each file individually - in InDesign, automatic file update happens.

Yes, it would be good to have that in the Resource Manager.

Until then, when you Open the document after the files are moved, and you get the prompt, choose Yes rather than choosing Resource Manager. Then when you get the File Explorer (Windows) or Finder window (Mac) you can locate the file it asks for, and all others that are in the same folder will also be located automatically.

@radek108, it was requested a few times in the Feedback/Feature Request forum, e.g.

But please don't mix up the word "locate" since it means different things inside/outside the Resource Manager.
