Failed to Install

Hello,
Following a request to update Affinity Publisher, I proceeded to download and install version 1.7.3, however after a minute the software closed. All other tests caused the same problem of inadvertent closure.
So I uninstalled Publisher, I downloaded version 1.7.3 again and proceeded to install. The installation fails with the message "Failed to install".
Windows 10 operating system up to date.
Net.Framework 4.8.
Would you have a solution to offer me?
Thanking you.

I'm sorry to hear this! In order for us to investigate we're going to require a copy of the installer log file.

Please open Windows Run (Windows Key + R) then paste the following string and press OK:

%temp%\AffinitySetup

In the window that opens, please select the most recently created folder, then attach SetupUI.log to your reply here.
Many thanks in advance!

Thank you for your reply.
However in the emergency I tried to install version 1.7.1, the installation went well and the software works well.

It seems that on this machine, the version of Net.Framework is 4.5 while while doing a search, the registry indicates 4.8.
After checking the status of Windows update, version 4.8 was waiting for download and installation. Maybe this was causing an installation problem.
Version 4.8 should not be installed correctly.

Which minimum version of Net.Framework is needed for Publisher 1.7.3?

I have not yet retested the installation of publisher 1.7.3 since the update. I should do it in the next few days and keep you informed.
