Patty_2
Want to delete one layer (grey square). But as soon as I try to software closes down. Tried this several times. Already de-installed programme and started new installation. But failure still exists. Can not work on file anymore. Any idea or help. newsletter.afpub
Staff Jon P Posted December 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted December 4, 2019 This seems to be fixed in the current beta which is here. I've opened your file in that beta and deleted the object without issue, I can reproduce the crash in 1.7.3 though Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
carl123
You can select the Rectangle, convert it to curves and delete it successfully. But something else is screwed up in the document as scrubbing the history slider all the way back causes the file to crash and this also happens in the 1.8 beta You could open the document go to the master page, select all & copy, create a new A4 document and paste into that one, then delete the rectangle. (which works) But I would be more inclined to redo the document from scratch since it's only one page and you cant be sure you are not copying any other hidden problem into the new document By the way are you sure you wanted that page laid out on the master page, it looks like it should be mostly composed on a normal page Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Staff Jon P Posted December 5, 2019 Staff Share Posted December 5, 2019 I've logged the scrolling crash, but it may just be a side effect of it being saved with a bug in in 1.7.3 - Either way i think it's worth looking into further and have logged it!
