dferber
A basic part for decades has been the ability to share a "Thumbnail" layout of a proposed design, in the early stages of a project. The thumbnail would show some basic layout features that we could discuss. Though this is a simple process in InDesign (see attached image), I have spent hours trying to get Publisher to come close to doing something similar. I really enjoy Publisher and look forward to leaving my Adobe subscription behind, but for me, this is a basic feature I absolutely need to have. I've seen work arounds that involve booklet and N-up printing, but not the quick and easy method I am looking for.
Staff Dan C Posted December 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted December 4, 2019 Hi dferber Unfortunately there's no such option currently built into Publisher to allow for Thumbnail printing, my apologies. I'll move this thread to our Feedback section of the Forums for our devs to see and consider! silvercleave and dferber 2 Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
