2919961318
When creating a new document, or drawing shapes such as a rectangle, the default unit is always 'in'. However, some people, including me, use 'mm' or 'cm' as their native unit. Thus, it is essential that the users should be able to set their preferred unit throughout the app.
Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @2919961318. (How should we pronounce that? What abbreviation can we use?) When creating a new document, the default units for print documents will be ‘in’ for ANSI paper sizes but ‘mm’ for metric paper sizes. Photos are in inches, web documents are in pixels, and device documents are in points.
