caseyasparks
I'm consistently having an issue in Affinity Photo in which adjustments (such as applying a mask, or cropping) apply to the entire image, and not just the selected layer. This happens regardless of whether the "Edit All Layers" button is checked or not. Is this a bug, or is something wrong in my preferences? walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, Casey. First, cropping does apply to the entire image; it is an operation against the canvas, not a layer. Next, you have a choice of how adjustments, masks, and filters are applied. From the menu, View > Assistant Manager, you should get a dialog like the one below. Check your settings for the items I've marked. If they're set to create a new layer, then they will affect every layer below them. (They would never affect the entire image, though, unless they're a layer at the top of the layer stack in the Layers panel.)
