Sanity_Rose1
I have emptied out my documents in the Affinity Photo program, cleared out the associated storage in the files app and yet the program continues to take over 30GB of space on my iPad. There seems to be no way to clear that space without uninstalling the program. This have been an ongoing issue. Can you help me identify the problem a solution other than uninstall the program? Also just as background, other programs seem to release the memory after the data associated with them without having to delete the program. So it cannot simply be the way that the iOS handles cache. BTW the problem also occurs on Affinity Designer. The attached photos show that the photos program is almost empty, but occupies 31.42GB of space. Staff Chris B Posted December 2, 2019 Staff Share Posted December 2, 2019 Hey Sanity_Rose1, Please see this link: Currently, the only way to remove all the used memory is to uninstall the app. This is logged with the developers as it clearly needs addressing. Please make sure you've saved the projects before uninstalling the app. I'm terribly sorry I don't have a better solution at the moment Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
