JeffreyDriver Posted December 1, 2019 Share Posted December 1, 2019 Designer 1.7.2, OSX 10.15.1 I have a number of lines/curves drawn with the pen tool, but I'm unable to make nodes join together. I've followed a video tutorial, but for some reason clicking the 'Join Curves' button in the context toolbar does nothing. I've got both objects selected, then selected the two nodes and then hit 'Join Curves' but it just doesn't do anything. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gear maker Posted December 1, 2019 Share Posted December 1, 2019 Jeffrey, are your lines in separate layers and the layers are marked as being Curve, not Curves? If they are curves then you will need to do a divide to turn them into Curve layers. Once they are Curve then select any two layers (I always do it from the layer panel) and then click Join Curves. This will take the end point of each that are physically closest to each other and connect them. FYI the Close Curve will then take the other two end points and close them.
