Grid-template for round images possible?

Recommended Posts

I wonder if this is possible with either Affinity Photo or Designer:

I have lots of images in different sizes and resolutions. I want to have a template with an e.g. 4x4 grid. I want to drag an image into a cell and have the image size adjusted to the cell size. Furthermore, the image should be masked in such a way that only a round cutout is visible (regardless if the original is round, square or a rectangle). The result should be a page with 4x4 round images.

Is this generally possible with an Affinity product?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi @barret.wallace and welcome!

Affinity Publisher will do this - draw grid of identical circular picture frames, drag images on and they are scaled to the shortest dimension and centred on the frame, on the fly. It would be a bit more complicated in Photo or Designer.

Affinity Photo 2.0.3,  Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.
