maranacos Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 Today I purchased Affinity Photo V 1.3.4 from Apple Store 1. I can only run it from the Apple Store - I cannot put in to Launchpad. Please tell me how to put in Launchpad so I can run it when not on the Internet 2. The last Beta still resides in Launchpad and will not run also I cannot delete it. Please tell me how to delete it and replace it with my purchased version. Staff MEB Posted July 10, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 10, 2015 Hi maranacos, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) 1) When you install Affinity Photo from the App Store application an icon is automatically placed on Launchpad. You don't need to be connected to the internet to use Affinity Photo. 2) To delete the Beta, go to your Applications folder and drag it to the trash. However, Affinity Photo 1.3.4 still only appears in Apple Store and it opens OK (therefore I assume it is downloaded) but I cannot make it appear in Launchpad. Please guide me. Thanks. Staff MEB Posted July 10, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 10, 2015 Are you sure it isn't in Launchpad? It may have been placed in a second "page/screen" in Launchpad. Check if you have some white dots at the bottom of the Launchpad and click on them to change to other "pages/screens". Is Affinity Photo there? No, it didn't appear in the second page of Launchpad, so I rebooted and now it is installing itself again in Apple Store. It takes a while to install so I will confirm when it is finished..... everything is all right now the minute it finished installing the Launchpad started jumping around and it opens from Launchpad, I guess I should have deleted the Beta before downloading.
