AgH
I somehow caused all of my tools to go away. I ended up with just a RAW file showing on the screen of my MacBook Pro. I got most of the "panels" on the right back, as well as "tools" I rarely use across the top, but I can't find a way to get my tools that show up on the left side of the screen (i.e. crop tool). I am away from home & left the book I bought from Affinity at home. How do I get the tools back on screen???? - - -AgH
Staff Callum Posted November 30, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 30, 2019 Hi AgH, Welcome to the forums Please could you try going to View > Show Tools? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
AgH
in my floundering around, I found that early. it restored items at the top of the screen but did not restore the column of tools on the left side of the screen. I had noticed previously that the tools could be dragged around. I even tried dragging things , hoping they were behind something. didn't work either. - - -AgH
AgH
actually under view there is not a "show tools" there is only a "show toolbars" which is checked & I turned that on. there is no "show tools" under view. - - -AgH

walt.farrell
And I can, too, now. I've never seen the forums do that before. Weird.
