Etdronehome
I am developing a PDF newsletter / brochure. The text hyperlinks (HL) work but I struggled trying to get an image to serve as a hotlink. This solution works and I thought I would share it in case others may need similar functionality. If this solution is going to cause a problem I would appreciate any input. The text HL 'Residential Real Estate" was duplicated and I placed it on top of the adjacent RRE image, dragging the handles to stretch the text to fill the entire dimensions of the image. I eliminated the color of this text, saved and exported the document and it works. I have not tried making a vector shape w/ tiny text and doing the same thing, but it should work This frees up space to enlarge the images. Hope this helps. GarryP
Rich, you can add a hyperlink to an image by using the “Text → Interactive → Insert Hyperlink...” function; it’s not just for text (I think it’s in the wrong place being under “Text”). See my attached example document and PDF (where the ‘under construction’ image should link to the Affinity Spotlight website). linked-image.afpub linked-image.pdf
