[AD] Remembering Export Persona destination folder

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

In Affinity Designer, when I click on `Export slices` (on the Export Persona panel) it always open a system dialog for destination folder.

Q: Is there a way to avoid the dialog?

Any of the following behaviours would be fine:

  1. Choosing the destination folder the first time and remembering it (should be a way to explicitly change it later)
  2. Permitting absolute paths and/or current folder (`.`) and parent folder (`..`) in the `Path` option
  3. Always opening the dialog for the destination folder but at least defaulting to current project directory (on the first time) or current project last selected export folder
  4. Allowing some sort of scripting

Thank you for your help.

Hi fgobbo,

Welcome to the forums :)

Unfortunately this System Dialog will always be shown when selecting 'Export Slices', I'll move this thread to our Feedback section of the forums for our devs to see and consider implementing your suggestions!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
