rui_mac
Lets say that I have an image (bitmap) and I drag a rectangle into it to serve as a mask. Now I can adjust the placement and scale of the rectangle independently of the image. But, if I move or scale or rotate the image, the rectangle ALWAYS follows along. So, if I need to adjust just the image, I have to remove the mask, adjust the image, and mask it again. I know that I can place the image inside a layer and then use the rectangle as a mask of the layer and, this way, be able to edit both independently. But there should be a way to, lets say, pressing a modifier key, be able to move an object that contains a mask, independently of its mask. Staff MEB Posted July 10, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 10, 2015 Hi Rui, We are aware of this limitation. I already suggested the ability to select both the masks (and clipping objects) and the content independently clicking on their thumbnails, but this wasn't implemented yet. I totally agree that this is very useful. rui_mac 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
