Affinity designer on iPad: The brush tool line breaks

Recommended Posts

When I draw a relatively straight line with vector brush tools, the ends of the line bends unnaturally.

The red circle in the attached image is the problem.

The node tool can be fixed by setting the end anchor point to sharp, smooth or smart.
However, it is hard because I have to do this every time.

Is there a way to avoid this problem?

Please tell me.

Thank you for your reply.

Certainly, when I was using an Apple Pencil, the trouble occurred.
I could draw without problems if I used my finger.
This seems to be a little more comfortable.

I hope I can use vector brush tools with Apple Pencil someday.

I'm still having the same issue as well. Strange tadpole strokes, on larger brushes, with my finger or with the apple pencil 2.

At smaller scales, I get the janky lines that don't smooth until the stroke is longer, and the wonky heads and tails on the lines regardless.

There may be a setting I'm missing somewhere.
