gkluther
I keep looking for a template facility in Affinity Publisher similar to what was in PagePlus. I would like to easily and quickly be able to select a template for a document without having to go through a list of parameters. I still keep a copy of PagePlus around for some tasks for that reason. I would like to get rid of PagePlus and do all my creating of forms and documents in Affinity Publisher. Am I missing something that already exists? erayjay7
Alfred
No, you’re not missing anything that already exists, but why not publish your favourite PagePlus templates to PDF? You can then open the PDF files in APub, save them and set them to read-only: when you want to create a new document based on a PP template, you can simply open the APub version and ‘Save As...’ to a new name in readiness for the new content. That works well. I would still like to see them add a template extension so it would open up as an Untitled document. and let us save out the same way. This is fairly common with other software and probably not too difficult to implement That being said, your solution works and this is small potatoes in the greater scheme. I hope it is somewhere on the roadmap Alfred 1 Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.1.2212Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
