LOGICBit
Why in the world is the Text Stroke tool hidden. Should be in context menu. It is used all the time. Just as much as convert to curves. Sheesh!
walt.farrell
Which application are you in? What kind of text are you using (Frame, Artistic, Shape/Path, ...)? Edit: Also, "Convert to Curves" is an action. But adjusting the stroke of text is a dialog. I would expect it to be invoked differently. By "context menu" do you mean the menu you get when you right-click on something, or the Context Toolbar? If you want to add a stroke to text one way to do that is via the Character Studio panel, where you have full control over the decorations (& other text attributes) you want to use on any character, word, phrase, or the entire text block. Photo compares well in this regard to Photoshop, which has no stroke controls for text and you have to use the layer-effects to do such things, which are limited in their capabilities. Here you can have the stroke behind or in front, aligned with different corner types etc., plus the control over individual characters. It's arguable where these functions should be found and perhaps "stroke" could be considered something justifying it's own palette that would be common to both text and other vector objects, but the capabilities are there.
