ianhg Posted November 22, 2019 Share Posted November 22, 2019 Hi I have an Apple running AP 1.7.3 iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) Processor 3.3GHz Quad_core Intel Core i5 24GB 1867 MHz DDR3 and AMD Radeon R9 M395 2GB graphics card I am find opening .CR2 files very slow if you try and select a large number at once say 20. They are loading from an external hard drive. Does any one know of an optimum number of files that will opening quickly, or should initially store directly to my Apple hard drive to speed the process? Staff Lee D Posted November 22, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 22, 2019 Affinity Photos workflow isn't really designed around opening multiple RAW files at once/that many, this will put a strain on the app and the system resources.
