Has anyone been able to import palettes to Designer on the iPad? I work with Montana brand spray paint and want to be able to import and/or their entire color palette. or do I have to use the eyedropper to import each color individually and name it individually? Also wondering if there is a way to rearrange the colors within the palette list view?

Hi Toddmurphyart,

Welcome to the forums :)

The only way to do this on iPad would be by colour picking each colour then adding them to swatches panel. On desktop however you can use  create palette from document which I have done for you. You can find the palette attached here. You should be able to import it into swatches on your iPad.

@Callum hi Callum, unfortunately iPad is still unable to import pallettes. The. Only way to get in in would be to add it as an afdesign file and save the pallette.

I know this is a very late answer, but I only began thinking about this yesterday. Make a blank document in the desktop version and import the palette as a document one. Save the document containing the palette as a template with an appropriate name based on the palette name. Open from template in the iPad version then alter the Document Setup to suit. Your palette is now available. Use "Place" to add images rather than "Open". I know its a workaround, but is much faster than adding colours to a palette manually.

I KNOW this is sooooo late and this thread is old but what can we do to encourage Affinity to make this a functionality for the ipad? the add chord section needs to be added too. is there a "hey you need to add this" thread/forum? You'd think after all these years, it would be done by now

importing swatches isn't available on the ipad. I know it's 2022 and this was posted in 2019... was it an option in 2019? why was it removed if so?
