walt.farrell
Recipe: Create a new file. Paint some lines with the Brush Tool (the Assistant creates a Pixel layer). Add a Fill Layer In the Layers panel, drag the Fill Layer down into the Pixel layer (to the right of the layer icon, so the long blue line shows). Photo Beta 1.8.0.486 consistently crashes as the blue line appears. Photo 1.7.3.481 does not. Crash reports are available, if they did not upload automatically. (If they did upload, they're associated with the same email as I use here in the forums.) And here's a sample file, created in 1.7.3.481. Just Open in the beta, and drag the Fill layer down. color-lines-with-fill.afphoto Chris B 1 -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
Gnobelix
Hallo @walt.farrell, I can confirm this. But if you add an Empty layer instead of a Fill layer and then fill it with a color or a gradient and drag these down into the Pixel layer (blue lines are displayed) then there's no crash.
