Pixel Atari
I'm trying to get Lens Correction profiles to load, but I seem to be stuck. I've followed the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahBF2_On_rA I am using a Panasonix G85 and the pictures I'm currently trying with are with a Panasonic 45-200 F4-5.6 OIS. Both of these seem to be supported. I've downloaded the latest LensFun database, copied the mil-panasonic.xml into the Lens Database folder, closed down and opened up again, but the profile never shows up. Staff stokerg Posted November 21, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 21, 2019 Hi Pixel Atari, Are you running Affinity on MAc or Windows? If Windows, can you try this in the latest beta as its had a number of improvements made to Lens Correction and i suspect you'll find it identifies the lens correctly. You can download the beta from here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/99051-affinity-photo-windows-customer-beta-180486/ If you are on Mac, we don't currently have an active beta but if you could provide a sample image i might be able to make it work until we do Pixel Atari

Staff stokerg Posted November 21, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 21, 2019 Hi Pixel Atari, Thanks for the RAW file. Okay i know the problem now, your lens is: LUMIX G VARIO 45-200mm F4.0-5.6 II Notice the II after the 5.6, the XML file for LensFun only supports the LUMIX G VARIO 45-200mm F4.0-5.6. However, when you leave develop you can click Filters>Distort>Lens Correction and apply the Lumix G Vario 45-200mm f/4.0-5.6 to the image, which will be the closest you can get until the version II of the lens is supported by LensFun Pixel Atari
Pixel Atari
Thank you for the help, I wasn't even aware that there was a Mk II and that I had it.
