Ioana
Hello, I used a lot of color noise designing a poster that needs to be printed. Now I’m wondering if that was a good idea since I’m not sure how that will come out printed. Does anyone have this experience with printing color noise? Is it a YEY or a NAY? ps: my document is a A2 and I used a 20% color noise.
Staff Dan C Posted November 20, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 20, 2019 Hi Ioana, Welcome to the forums 18 hours ago, Ioana said: Now I’m wondering if that was a good idea since I’m not sure how that will come out printed You should have no issues with printing a design that has Colour Noise applied, but before printing I recommend opening the Navigator Studio from the right hand side toolbar and viewing the document at 100% zoom - as this will provide the most accurate preview of the noise, as it will look when printed. I set up a quick test document and printed it here, using 20% noise and I can confirm that the noise prints correctly and looks as expected. I hope this helps! Ioana
Dan C, thank you for your tip, I decided my document needs at least 30% noise to end up the way I planned. Dan C
