Publisher [1.8.0.502] Text and vertical alignment issue

Hi,

Converting and importing an old template file (CS6) with some text centred over rectangular box (defining template sizes)

I Noticed that the vertical text alignment of the is well mis-aligned..... So I created a new file just with the text (4 versions [top/bottom/center/distribute] + Arial) in separate text boxes. Converted to IDML and imported back to publisher...all ok except the centre alignment text

I reported this already. Pick Show Baseline Grid Manager from the toolbar and uncheck Use Baseline Grid. After that the text is vertically centered. This is also broken in the latest release version.

EDIT: Sorry @StuartRc This is obviously no bug, as I learned from the following thread:

Thanks for pointing out the link...Wish I had found that when I was trying to fix it! ....That's great..one less issue...but it contributes to Beta testing as it highlights areas for efficiency improvements..hopefully!..and this is the first imtroduction of IDML

... my concern would be the number of times you had to disable the checkbox if you have lots of pages and subsequent text frames..There are no options on IDML import at the moment..

Thank you for reporting a problem using the pre 1.8.0 beta builds. It appears that a member of the Affinity QA team didn't get round to fully investigating this specific report posted in the bugs forums. We are very sorry for this oversight. Yours is one of a number of reports that I am posting this apology to, using an automated script. 

Now we have released 1.8.3 on all platforms containing many hundreds of bug fixes, and we hope your problem has already been fully addressed. If you still have this problem in the 1.8.3 release build, then the QA team would really appreciate you reporting again it in the relevant Bugs forum.
