Additional Suggestion: If you click using the Node Tool, it could convert the node mode to the next one in a cycle conversion order. or make that a new tool: "Node converter"

(Using 1.10.4)I don't think the problem Larryh pointed out has been solved. You can convert a smooth node directly to sharp one, but you can't do the opposite. Today, when the screen of the display is getting bigger, it causes a lot of stress. Y.Kusumi

Soorry!   I was wrong.  "Drag + Control key"  works for that.

Still 'wrong', most of the way there. Using the node tool Control + Click will change to a corner to a smooth node, using the Pen tool (on Mac only) you can use Command + Control + Click. Dragging will change the node but move it too.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Still, dedicated shortcuts would be nice to have for these as well to batch convert nodes using the keyboard. As opposed to one at a time with the node tool and/ or to avoid having to leave the canvas to reach for the toolbar.
